Job Description:
Ohio University Human Resources is seeking a Director of Employee & Labor Relations to lead the university in support and administration of two collective bargaining agreements and fostering employee and labor relations.
The successful applicant will have a graduate degree in related field (J.D. preferred) plus 8 years relevant experience to include negotiating collective bargaining agreements; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Strong communication, conflict resolution, consensus building and problem solving skills; ability to work effectively with and lead diverse constituent groups and individuals; ability to research and analyze complex laws, rulings and issues; organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and plan multiple projects and activities.
